Club Scholarships
We are delighted that our club can support the education of local students by providing multiple annual scholarships. To qualify, students should be graduating seniors from Hannibal High School. These scholarships pay tribute to past and present club members who have played a vital role in the club's achievements over the years.
2026 Scholarships include:
Dillinger - Herrin Memorial Scholarship for $1,000.00
Long - Zembles Memorial Scholarship for $1,000.00
Resnick - Webber Memorial Scholarship for $1,000.00
Mark Eggleston Key Club Scholarship for $1,000.00
David Bleigh Trade School Scholarship for $1,000.00
Completed applications should be submitted through the Hannibal High School Counselor's Office by application deadline.
Earl Collins Foundation Scholarship
Earl Collins was a charter member of the Cape Girardeau Kiwanis Club in 1942 and a life-long educator. He served as Governor of Mo-Ark District in 1952 and as District Secretary from 1956 until his death in 1960. Following his death, the Cape Girardeau club established a scholarship in his memory. In 1985, the scholarship fund was re-organized as a charitable foundation. Thru the generous donations of Kiwanis Clubs and individual Kiwanians, the Foundation is able to provide 52 $1,500 scholarships each year. Two in each division within the Mo-Ark District. Student in each division are judged on class rank, extracurricular activities, honors received, statement of educational objectives, letters of recommendation, financial need and participation in Key Club. Division 1, includes clubs in Macon, Kirksville, Canton, Palmyra and 2 Hannibal Clubs.
